Borne Charles Edouard Jeanneret, he is undoubtedly considered to be the most important Modernist chair designer in France. A spirited advocate of Modernism, The designer created a range of chairs that express his ideals with great sophistication. Mrs. Heidi Weber of Zurich first put the designer collection into production in 1959. With his the approval, she changed the appearance of the designer Petit Modele Armchair LC2. She removed the spring mechanism and used fabricating methods, which allowed the frame to be chromed. She also gave the cushions a more formal & tailored look. Her contribution to the re-design of the collection was instrumental in the commercial success of the designer Petit Modele Armchair LC2, and the entire collection including The designer Lounge Chaise Chair LC4. Our impeccable reproduction of the designer Lounge Chaise Chair LC4 in Pony features genuine pony leather on the front, sides and back, with a polished stainless steel frame.
