Verner Panton
Verner Panton was born 1926 in Gamtofte, Denmark. He studied at Odense Technical College before enrolling at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen to study architecture. He graduated to work for Arne Jacobsen architectural studios, and moved on to start his own architecture and design firm in 1955. He developed a passion for the use of bright colors and sleek plastics in his furniture designs.
